This shot was made after hiking up a high sandy trail to reach the mountain behind our camp ground for the night. The whole trip was unbelievable because of the magnificent sights and sounds. It is one of my most talked about trips as I never imagined that I would get to do something like that. I had looked down at the Colorado River from the South Rim in awe of the view, and then there I was "down on the river". Nothing like it………
