This was my second time down the Colorado with Western River. Our friends had heard me rave about it for years and finally said….lets all go together. So we booked a full raft and again I was blessed to ride the river. Sitting in the bottom of the Canyon on the side of the river is a totally spiritual experience that will knock you to your knees with the reality that we are only on this planet but for the blink of an eye. To watch the sunlight come down one side of the canyon wall and then rise up the other is pure magic. This photo was taken just as we dove into a rapid and as quickly as we did it was over and again we drifted with the ever amazing walls around us in total silence.
