This is a photo of a print I made after a trip down the San Juan. As a kid growing up in Indiana, I dreamed about moving to a big city. But as an adult, I find myself daydreaming about rafting. Once in a while my dreams overlap and I make a print. Wouldn’t Chicago be way cooler if you could raft through it?
I had always wanted to go on a multi-day raft trip, but I was a little intimidated. My ultimate goal is to have enough knowledge and experience to one day lead trips myself. But in the meantime, there’s nothing wrong with relaxing and letting the guides show you how it’s done.
