A Trip We’ll Remember and Enjoy for the Rest of our Lives – Grand Canyon Vacations

I took this same Grand Canyon rafting trip 7 years ago with my father, three brothers and two close family friends.

That was my first ever rafting trip on the Colorado River down the Grand Canyon and I vowed then that I would someday show my wife that same adventure.

It took longer than I thought, but we finally made our arrangements and repeated the trip - this time with two other couples that are close friends. My concern was that the second trip wouldn't be as exciting as the first, at least for me. Boy, was I wrong! Our Western River boat crews were knowledgeable, friendly and VERY entertaining the whole way down the river.

I got to see the full moon rise and set over Grand Canyon, which was an experience like no other. My wife got to spend her first night ever sleeping outside under the stars (I'm not sure how she managed to miss that experience growing up, but she did ...).

Our two rafts coalesced into one big group almost immediately, so the experience was almost like going downriver with 31 of your best friends. We're already looking into another trip so I can bring my kids along.

It is truly a life altering experience that shouldn't be missed. Thank you Western River Expeditions!
