Amazing Adventure from Start to Finish! – Grand Canyon Vacations

When my daughter and I signed up for this Grand Canyon Vacation adventure we weren't sure what we were getting ourselves into. This quickly turned into one of our funnest adventures together!  Seven days rafting in the Grand Canyon!  Wow!  We made wonderful friends that we now call our "River Family".

At the beginning of the trip we sat on the very front pontoons of the "J" rig and squealed a bit as we encountered our first "splash".  We asked the Western River guides what level of rapid was that considered--they chuckled a bit when they explained that that was only a "riffle". Over the next seven days we ran rapid after rapid and soon found ourselves on the front pontoons as much as we could!

Our river guides; Lucky, Kelly and Beek were the Best!  They made this trip so fun for all of us. They were the first up in the morning and the last to bed at night. They cooked us delicious food, entertained us and taught us how to "survive" on the river. They even got a little fire dancing in...

There is so much to say about this Grand Canyon vacation but I find myself at a loss for words. This is a trip you just have to experience for yourself.  The beauty of the Colorado River captivates you and memories are made that will last a lifetime.  When you arrive back home--look up at the full moon.  Maybe you will find yourself wondering what that moon must look like from the bottom of the Grand Canyon.  Then you will know what I mean...
