An Incredible Family Adventure, In One Of The Most Beautiful Places On Earth! Grand Canyon Tours

I wanted one thing, and one thing only, for Christmas last year.  I had been down the Colorado River twice before, without my spouse and children and I wanted more than anything to share my love for the Grand Canyon with them!

I got my wish and I will never have a better Christmas gift, ever.  My spouse and I, with our 3 kids, ages 22, 20 and 17 had the time of our lives.

The white water rapids are so exciting and fun, the hikes to beautiful waterfalls and lookout points are incredible, the food is fantastic, (my kids teased me that it was better than my cooking at home) and I didn't mind because it's true.

The Western River guides are knowledgable, engaging, and warm-hearted, making every passenger feel special.

When I think back to my favorite moments though, they were the evening talks we'd have while laying on our cots, gazing up at the very starry sky.  Soon the kids will go back to college or high-school and I'll have less frequent contact, so I cherish those talks about life, their hopes and dreams, and their futures, greatly.  An adventure like this is such special bonding time for families.

I sure hope that they never figure out how to get cell reception down in the canyon because for a parent, having your kid's undivided attention for a week is truly priceless!
