Awesome Adventure in the Grand Canyon
Our family of four (daughter-17 and son-14) just returned from a fantastic vacation rafting (and camping) 188 miles down the Colorado River with Western River Expeditions.
The entire trip was a perfect blend of adventure, fun, breath-taking scenery, great food, education and safety. The guides were phenomenal working around the clock to make sure all guests were enjoying their trips. The training, experience and professionalism was evident when a serious tone was needed like before running a mega rapid, manuevering in treacherous areas or reminding us to stay hydrated. On the flip side, the personalities came out when chatting about Canyon folklore, answering questions or just cutting up while floating and sitting around camp.
We had a diverse group and the guides also did a commendable job of letting each guest stay within or push their limits on several hiking excursions to interesting sites. We would recommend this trip to anyone and will definitely return ourselves.
