A Blast in the Grand Canyon!
From the initial contact with Western River to the final bus ride back to the hotel, our Grand Canyon experience was easy, enjoyable, and an absolute blast. Sandy was helpful throughout the process with questions, concerns, and even a reservation change.
The plane ride to the Bar 10 Ranch was a great way to see the geography we were headed into, and the ranch experience was truly a wonderful one, with horseback riding, skeet shooting, a great dinner, and a gorgeous sunset ride on ATV's. The ranch staff was friendly, fun, and talented, putting on a great show for us after dinner.
The helicopter ride into the Canyon was a first for many in our group and a thrilling way to start the river portion of the trip.
And how to describe our guides? They were fun, professional, helpful, and made our river rafting experience so much more fun than we ever expected. The little details - history, geography lessons, snacks, and great food! - not to mention the formal "captain's dinner" on our last night - made our time with them extra special. The Western River staff is truly a great group of individuals offering a wonderful experience in one of the most beautiful places on Earth!
