The great part of a rafting expedition is that you leave wallets, cell phones etc behind and just let the river guide and delight you. We had poor weather-but the group and the guides were cheerful, positive, and great fun.
I have done trips with western River Expeditions before and with almost 60 years experience, they have it perfected. Professional, competent, I can't recommend them enough.
The food was prepared and presented in very challenging rainy conditions, but the taste and quality was not diminished! I have done this Cataract Canyon trip, the Grand Canyon trip, and now maybe the Green River in Desolation Canyon or repeat the Grand Canyon with grandchildren in the future.
To say such a trip is quality time to connect is an understatement; I was there with my brother and there was even a three generational family represented! Thanks, Peace
