“Get Some!”; (What Andrew, Our Swamper, Yelled Before Every Rapid) – Grand Canyon Vacations

Our family of 5 went on this Grand Canyon whitewater rafting trip because my husband had gone with his family when he was 15, and he has talked about taking our family even before we had kids.

He was excited beyond words; the rest of us, not so much. This rafting trip was WAAAAAYYY outside our box.

Thanks to 4 amazing river guides, a great bunch of people to share the experience with, and an incredibly impressive operation by Western River Expeditions, we all had an amazing time.

Yes, even the 18-year-old girlie girl, and the mom who never goes anywhere without blow drying her hair, ended up loving the trip.

The rapids were incredibly fun, the food was to-die-for, the stops along the Colorado River were all fun and different, the stars at night were gorgeous, and the helicopter ride out of the canyon was the icing on the cake.

Our family will tell stories about this trip for years to come.
