Grand Canyon Rafting Trip
Wow, what a rafting trip we had! We had it all: high flow rate, great rapids, good food, monsoons, incredible scenery, lightning and thunder storms, and great fellow rafters.
I had taken this trip in 2003 with Western River Expeditions with Drew Read as our guide. I have always wanted to repeat the trip. This time I was with my 15 year old Grandson and my Son-In-Law. As mentioned, this was an outstanding trip. Our guides, Joe Clark and Scottie Place, excelled at their boat handling, knowledge of the geography of the Grand Canyon, food preparation, their sincere interest in their guests, and their musical talent which was enjoyed by all of us at night.
I find it difficult to express the enjoyment of the trip. It is a life changing experience.
