A Wonderful And Beautiful Grand Canyon Vacation, And An 11 On A Scale Of 1 To 10!

This was my first experience whitewater rafting on any river, and the first time I had ever been to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. I didn't really know what to expect, but the guides were efficient and I felt totally comfortable giving myself over to their expertise for the 3 days I was with them on the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon.  I felt that I grew so close to everyone on this whitewater rafting trip over such a short amount of time. The Grand Canyon is beyond words, majestic and beautiful don't even come close.  As I said, I didn't know what to expect as far as bathroom facilities or what meals would consist of.  I dealt with the bathroom thing ok (no worse than using a porta-potty, only you're in the great outdoors, and you have to "smile at the danger" - ask what that means when you call Western River), and the food was great. Don't plan on losing weight on this Grand Canyon trip!
