Grand Canyon Whitewater Rafting
From the first day to the last of our Grand Canyon whitewater rafting, this trip exceeded our expectations. The rapids were exhilarating, the food was great, our guides were fantastic, and the scenery along the way and at each camp in the evening was awe inspiring. We've been home over a week and the canyon still rattles around in our minds and we miss the friends we made.
Our guides, Stephen, RD, Travis, and Emily were fun, professional, and knocked themselves out to see that we all had a great trip. The emphasis on safety, geology lessons on the river, the preparation for the rapids, the skillful guiding of the J-rig raft, side hikes, the stories and prep for the next day in camp, AND, the guitar playing and singing bonus under the stars by Stephen and Travis were all highlights. We were looking forward to a hot shower at the end of the trip, but other than that, we hated to see it end.
A couple of tips for anyone considering taking the trip:
1. Pack everything they tell you to bring. You'll need it all!
2. Move around and sit in all areas of the boat. Every spot has it's own rewards.
3. Sleep under the stars. It's an amazing show.
