It Is A Privilege To Do This Trip – Rafting The Grand Canyon

Having traveled extensively, and enjoyed various activity holidays, my husband and I were looking forward to this Grand Canyon rafting trip immensely.

The whole experience far exceeded our high expectations. This is not for the faint hearted.  The whitewater rapids are big, and you have to be willing to help unload the boat, set up your own cot beds, deal with a portable toilet, and pee in the river (far easier for men than women) but the rewards are awesome.

You can access parts of the Grand Canyon that very few others can. The expedition is an ideal combination of information, fun, beauty, adrenalin rushes and relaxation as you move along the Colorado River.

The Western River Expedition guides work exceptionally hard, cater to a level that would be acceptable in a posh hotel, and are fun informative and entertaining.
