Rafting the Grand Canyon
This was the best rafting trip of my long rafting career. Great guides, good companions, over 100 rapids, wonderful food and many unforgettable thrills. All the equipment (tents, cots, chairs and sleeping bags) were in good shape and easy to use.
Side trips to the various falls were fun and provided a bit of diversion from many hours of sitting on the raft.
The beauty of the Grand Canyon was mind bending and since the traffic on the Colorado River is held to a minimum, we had it to ourselves most of the time.
The team work between the guides and with everyone on this trip was amazing. The guests had little to do but when there was something that needed doing, there were plenty of hands and bodies to get it done with smiles and great attitudes.
All in all, one of the best activity vacations I have ever been on and I have been on many. Simply awesome.
