Great Adventure Rafting The Grand Canyon

It was an amazing trip rafting the Grand Canyon. The guides, Lucky and Chappy, added immensely to the enjoyment with their knowledge, humor, great cooking, and friendly dispositions. Our entire group bonded from the beginning of 7 days together on the Colorado River which resulted in having a very fun experience. The food was really great. the meals were truly amazing (we even had ice cream on the fifth day). 

The views and many hikes in canyons and waterfalls were tremendous.  I really enjoyed going through the many whitewater rapids, especially Crystal, Upset, and Lava, which really threatened to knock me off the boat. For those going rafting on the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon, be prepared for some cold and muddy water (a rainsuit is a must).
