The Grand Canyon—GO THERE!

I had many trepidations about doing this Grand Canyon whitewater rafting trip. I love the outdoors, but going down huge rapids isn't my idea of how to enjoy nature! From the very first moment, our guides, Ronnie, Jeff, Corey and Scott, made us feel totally comfortable. No question was a dumb question. They were witty, knowledgeable and very professional in every aspect of our trip. My husband broke his arm 3 weeks before we were to depart, but was still able to make the trip, and had an awesome time. My boys 12 and 15, dove right into this whole experience, even riding the rapid down Little Colorado with just a life jacket on. We never knew what time it was or what day it was.....So great to be completely unplugged, living in the moment. I faced all my fears of big water, and rode in the front of the boat for all the highly rated rapids. That was a huge accomplishment for me! Now, I can't wait to take a group of my best friends to experience the grandeur and comraderie that this trip brings!
