Thought I had died and been invited into Heaven! – 6 Day Grand Canyon Whitewater Rafting

It was my first time rafting the Grand Canyon and I came with some expectations of what it would be like, but I truly had no idea that I would be entering into what I considered to be one of the most breath taking places I have had the privilege to ever visit! Now I understand why the Grand Canyon is considered one of the 7-Natural Wonders of the World.

From the moment I first made reservations with Western River Expeditions to the time I exited the canyon at the Bar 10 Ranch, I was completely pleased with the way my trip had been handled by the Western River office staff, the Desert Rose (Las Vegas Hotel) and staff, and the Bar 10 Ranch and staff.

But most of all my up most appreciation and respect goes to our Grand Canyon tour guides, Mark Pierce (Trip Leader), Wren, Scott and Kurt. These guys know their stuff and are definitely professionals in a very unique field. If I had to enter into the Grand Canyon with nothing but the clothes on my back, I would want one of them with me because I know they would get me out safe and probably still 5 pounds heavier!

If you are a fan of the out of doors, do not let this adventure pass you by. It was an opportunity of a life time that left me with no regrets and plenty of awesome memories and a burning desire for another great adventure.
