Transforming Experience in the Grand Canyon

I have always wanted to raft the Grand Canyon. So when my husband threw it out as a vacation option, I jumped at the chance. Our son is 13, a perfect age!

I was a little nervous about some of the... ahem ... logistics, but everything was well explained by our guides, with understanding and humor. I adapted quickly. It was just not a problem.

Our group quickly got with the rhythm of setting up and breaking down camp, meals, excursions and, of course, the rapids!

We were fortunate to be in the Canyon on the new moon and the stars were unbelievable.

To experience the Grand Canyon from the river is awe-inspiring. Wonderful geology, spectacular scenery. Words are so inadequate.

If you have an opportunity to take this trip, do it.
