What a week! We were so amazed at the beauty of the Grand Canyon.
The ladies at the Western River office were very helpful when I called with all of my questions about our recent rafting trip down the Colorado River :)
My husband and I drove to Marble Canyon, AZ to meet the trip...the bus ride to lees ferry was good - very scenic :)
Our river guides, Nathan and Kelly were amazing. They made the trip so much fun. Kelly's cheerful personality is inspiring and she went above and beyond to make the week unforgetable. Nathan kept us laughing with his funny personality...he took a lot of time answering our many many questions and sharing so much history about the canyon. Both had a very protective way about them that made us feel completely safe and taken care of. The 4 guides were all great!
What a week! We were so amazed at the beauty of the Grand Canyon. Every part of the trip was wonderful...from the delicious food, going potty overlooking the river, sleeping under the stars, enjoying our entertaining and informative guides, bathing in 50 degree water, making new friends, rafting through Hermit and Lava, hiking, seeing the Little Colorado for the first time, and even the fire lines. It was a trip of a life-time!
