You Absolutely Have To Try This! – Rafting The Grand Canyon

My wife and I enjoy adventure holidays and this one does not disappoint.

Western River Expeditions is a first class operation from the get go. Organized and efficient, we were picked up from our hotel and delivered to the aircraft for a breathtaking flight to Marble Canyon. From there a short drive to Lees Ferry and a briefing on the logistics of our trip before boarding.

The equipment is well maintained and rafts impressive. The crew were outstanding with lots of referencing to the geology and cultural heritage of the canyon.

We were entertained with the stories of pioneers who braved the waters before us. The thrills of the rapids was just wild!

I can't wipe this grin off my face or my wife's grip marks either!

Camping was awesome and the food will blow you away.

The Grand Canyon is so much more than any photo could ever portray and this whitewater rafting experience is one of the best in our lives.

I am over 60 years old so yes, you can do it.  You gotta love wet, get unplugged, bring your smiles and hang on tight!
