These extended multi-day trip down here in the Snake River really allows people to allow themselves to be completely captured by the beauty of the area. There are a couple big rapids and a lot of moderate rapids.

The stars were gorgeous. I got to see them every night when I went to sleep. The guides really made the trip. They worked their hearts out from morning until evening. If they’re not working in the kitchen they’re entertaining us.

They seemed to have some good traditions and it was fun because we got to be part of those traditions as well. I almost wouldn’t call it camping, I would call it glamping. They put up the tent for you, oh my goodness that’s wonderful.

To come out here and really get removed from the hustle and bustle of life, I just don’t think that you could be in any better place.

With my family I got to spend time doing things I would have never thought I would be doing. This trip is about getting closer with nature, it’s about coming closer with people you don’t know and with people that you do know.

Here we are at the end and we wish it weren’t over yet. Yeah, six days and we’re saying, “I hate to see this ending.”
