Lodging accommodations on the Rogue River are cozy, thanks to a series of quaint lodges "grandfathered in" to the Wild & Scenic designation of Oregon's Rogue River. You will enjoy evenings on the lush lawn, the deck, or inside the main room of each lodge, then retire to your private bedroom at night (two per room). This is really one of the only multi-day river adventures in the world where this is possible. Savor meals cooked by the lodge staff, and run the Rogue River by day to the next lodge down the line!
Family-style meals are provided by the staff at each lodge. Each lodge and/or cabin features private rooms with various bed size combinations, and private bathrooms with a sink, shower, and toilet.
If you are looking for a "camping only" trip on the Rogue River, there are departure dates in September and October where you can experience rafting the Rogue River for 4 days and camp riverside for 3 nights.
Morrison's Lodge is where you'll stay the night before your river trip. Enjoy the vast lawns, river banks, rentals and restaurants.
Black Bar Lodge is your first night's stop. Cabins feature either One Double bed and One Twin bed, or in some cases Two Twin beds.
Marial Lodge is the second night's stop. This lodge features a spacious deck area under a canopy of lush Oregon foliage.
Located just below the famous class-IV rapid, Blossom Bar, Half Moon Bar Lodge is where you will spend night three.
In most cases, you can expect cabins and rooms to feature either one double bed and one twin bed, or in some cases two twin beds.
Local wildlife is friendly and eager to partake in the excitement. From turtles and birds, to otter, deer and black bear, wildlife abounds on the Rogue.
Different settings for a river trip... Enjoy eating around large family style tables in the company of new-found friends.
Ample space either inside or outside is available at each location for rest and relaxation.
"You have an amazing variety of wildlife, some great lodges to stay in along the way... It's kind of the best of both worlds."
"It’s not just about the whitewater it’s also about making connections with people and sharing a place that I love with them."
Enjoy breakfast and dinner at each lodge in a family style meal setting. Each meal is served with attention to providing a variety of options and preferences.
Lunch is prepared by your guides and served at a riverside location with plenty of nature to observe while you enjoy basking in the sun or shade.
