Mile 17 - House Rock Rapid

House Rock Rapid is one of the first to really give river rafters a sense of what is to come. The rapid curves against a wall on the left and crescendos into a large “hole” at the bottom. The name House Rock comes from the massive valley by the same name where the drainage to this rapid originates.
