Mile 20.5 - North Canyon

North Canyon runs almost parallel to the South Canyon drainage, which meets the Colorado ten miles downstream. North Canyon has cut through the red Supai Formation creating a narrow and often shady canyon. River runners frequently hike up the canyon for a mile to a relaxing bowl-shaped area and pool.
