Mile 84 - Clear Creek

Parking and unloading from a boat in the swift water above Clear Creek can be challenging, but the hike is well-worth the effort. The metamorphic schist and igneous granite are also a challenge to climb over, but once in the drainage a smooth walk through and alongside the crystal clear creek leads to a small waterfall. The canyon often introduces to the hikers an upclose view of the rugged terrain that the Upper Granite Gorge has to offer.
