A Lifetime Adventure
My trip could not have been better. It was my first time rafting down the Grand Canyon and it was everything I hoped for. The scenery was spectacular. I felt a strange mixture of awe and personal insignificance thinking about the time span, geologic forces, and the Colorado River.
Our trip leader Joe, and his team of Stephen, Nick, and Shad were outstanding: friendly, approachable, helpful, informative, talented, concerned about our safety without being intrusive, and just plain good guys.
Joe's team is truly a renaissance group: their cooking was restaurant quality, their knowledge is wide and deep, they are poised and tireless, and they entertained us with their music, singing, poetry and corny jokes.
Thank you for a deeply moving trip and a lifetime memory.
I will definitely be back.
