Most Amazing Experience of My Life
I have wanted to do this rafting trip for years. Our friends that we went with did the 3 day Grand Canyon trip 18 years ago and I have wanted to do it since. I turned 60 this year and said now or never.
Our guides Evan, Steve, Newty and Lat were outstanding. They were accommodating, informative, funny and just really good guys. The meals were incredible, including birthday cake and ice cream. Pictures can not adequately capture the beauty that surrounded us. We met some wonderful people during our 6 days. We actually became like a little family.
For all those wives/girlfriends that refuse to make the trip because of the bathroom situation, it really isn't bad at all. It certainly isn't worth missing the trip of a lifetime. Thank you Western Expedition for making my 60th birthday better than I even imagined. This trip actually surpassed my expectations which were pretty high. If anyone is considering taking this trip, go for it. You will not regret it one single bit.
