Best trip we ever took
Was worried that heat would be oppresive. Glad we took a May trip. Cold water had everyone chilled the first day, fine after that. Guide should strongly (maybe even require) that folks wear rain gear at least in the AM of early season trips. Food was superb, great scenery, exciting white water, fun hikes. Our guides were Craig Lutke and Jonny Fu. Craig kept calling him Jonny Fu so much I forgot his real last name. Both were excellent guides, story tellers, and boatmen. As I'm sure you know by now, Craig saved the life of a woman who fell into Havasu Rapid without a life jacket. You folks should get the State of Arizona to give him a lifesaving award. We intend on doing this trip with you folks year after next-'nuff said.
