Fabulous River Experience
My wife, friends and I had a wonderful river rafting experience. All aspects were well organized and expertly run. Our Western River guides were all fantastic and added much to the experience. Even as we were loading the rafts and casting off it was apparent that this was going to be a stimulating but also a safe journey. The professionalism of the crew was obvious to see.
The Grand Canyon and Colorado River were continuously fascinating. The guides also gave us information talks which added much and they also helped us get into the white water part with encouragement and good cheer. The camping part was fun and we were blessed with excellent weather allowing us to sleep "under the stars" each night, although a bright, near full moon was an interesting distraction.
We used the packing list and found it provided us with what we needed. Glad we made the effort to do that. Our fellow rafters seemed to make use of it too.
The food was excellent and prepared expertly and cheerfully by our hard-working guides.
We came through Las Vegas and found the flying travel to and from the river a nice part of the overall experience.
We will recommend this to others and began compiling our list of who we are going to suggest it to while still in the canyon. Great job, Western River!
