A Great Trip in Every Respect
We went on a Grand Canyon 7-day trip during the second week of September 2016 and had a magnificent time.
The leaders and guides were outstanding and the whole trip was extremely well organized. The food was terrific, the starry nights were inspiring, the side canyons and waterfalls were magnificent and the hike up to the ancient cliff-side granaries was a highlight. The water of the Colorado River is cold (!) even on very hot days and everyone gets wet in the rapids, so be sure to bring a light-weight, water-resistant jacket and pants.
It's just a spectacular experience.
