When a Great Vacation Becomes a Treasured Memory
Our Cataract Canyon rafting vacation was fantastic. After having been to Lake Powell many times, we thought we knew what to expect: similar climate and surroundings.
From the beginning we were very impressed with everyone within the Western River family. Reservations were made and we were asked to meet at the Moab Adventure Center at 7 AM. We were greeted by Jason who was very professional and thorough. Thank you Jason for setting a great standard from the beginning that held consistent throughout the entire journey. Within 45 minutes of leaving the MAC we were sitting on our rafts heading downstream on the mighty Colorado River.
The equipment used was first class, clean and dependable. The views and the river were interactively inspiring. The people we shared the trip with made the experience even better. Many of the people we met will be life long friends whom we hope to experience additional adventures with.
The Guides were professional and efficient. Our guides cooked every meal, and even cooked up some entertainment after their chores and 15 hour days were finished. This was what we didn't expect: that the guides made the trip! Thank you for a treasured memory!!
