Kudos to Western River
There truly are no words to convey what a soul experiences on this expedition! I have backpacked over some of the most beautiful pieces of Europe and this trip down the Colorado River has to be at the TOP of my wonderful list of life experiences! The guides provided historical, ecological, geological, and anecdotal information that enhanced the thrill of facing HUGE walls of whitewater along our trek through the Grand Canyon.
Even now, some years later, my mind paints vivid pictures of sights, scenes, poignant moments that keep the memory of this trip very alive today. My husband and I have spread the word about Western River Expeditions, who probably ranks as #1 for providing thrill, fun, and even class in such an amazing rugged piece of our amazing country.
