Las Vegas White Water Rafting – An Absolute Pleasure!
After losing my bid to go on the 3 day Grand Canyon trip departing from Las Vegas, I was pressured by my mother into the 6 day trip. How could I spend 6 days camping on the river?! From the first meeting with fellow passengers at the Las Vegas airport to the final helicopter ride out of the canyon, I loved every last minute of the trip! The guides (Drew and Tom, John and Jenny) were knowledgeable, encouraging, warm and fun. The rapids were terrific, even after facing chilly whitewater the first few days. The food was diverse and fresh. Campgrounds were clean and the set-up and breakdown transitions were smooth. Our j-rigs were comfortable and safe. It was a pleasure to be with Western on that trip. I left tearfully wishing I had more time to spend there. Thanks for an experience I won’t ever forget! If you're looking for white water rafting from Las Vegas, this trip is it!
