Life changing experience
We were so worried before we went that we might be stuck with a group of people we didn't like or that we'd die on the rapids! When we got there we realized that we were with a fantastic group of people and it was a wonderful group to be part of. You do so much together that in the end everyone really gets along. The rapids were smashing too! We found out that there is various seating on the boat which means you don't have to be knocked around if you don't want to (although it's really fun to get knocked around!). Our guides, Johnny and Wiley, really made the experience for us. They knew so much about the canyon and loved it so much that we all fell in love with it too (although it is not difficult as it is really the most beautiful place I have ever been). It felt like we were the first trip they'd ever had as they were so attentive and happy to help in whatever way they could and got really excited about the big rapids. Both Johnny and Wiley are such special people and we feel so lucky to have had them as our guides.
