Magical Transformation
The Grand Canyon rapids are rated on a scale of 1 to 10 and our experience on this trip clearly made this adventure a 10 in our books! First, the beauty and scenery are clearly a 10. But what I was so impressed with was the guide-man experiences which also rocked a 10. Whether it was the morning talks/poems/stories by Chad, the on-river educational talks of a particular area on the river or the just general interaction with each and every guide, our guide-hosts were exceptional. These four men were exceptional in every way. Of course, the food and accommodations also score a 10!
No one on our two boats came out of the river as they came in. Everyone had some revelation (or revelations) from the experience. We were fortunate to have this experience and even more blessed to have Shad, Scottie, Skinny and McKi lead us through this journey!
