Not Just a Vacation, But an Experience of a Lifetime.

Day five, 7/5/14: Breakfast – pork chops, French toast. A lot of good rapids today. Stopped for a hike to Deer Creek Falls. Evening with no rain and no wind. Had hot wings for appetizers and spaghetti for dinner. The Grand Canyon continues to amaze beyond words; it is so beautiful and so massive. We have been in here well over 100 miles and haven't run out of things to see and hear.

Right from the start we had great respect for the professional attitudes and expertise displayed by the Western River guides but we gradually realized they are all personally part of this Grand Canyon; they know it so well and have spent their lives in the area and in the canyon and on the rivers. They take a personal interest in everyone’s safety and comfort.
