Despite the hugely complicated logistics of arranging a trip like this every aspect of it was perfect.
The guys who ran our boats could not be faulted in any way. They were endlessly cheerful and helpful, funny and informative. I had just the BEST time.
The Grand Canyon is utterly sublime and to raft down it was a privilege I shall never forget. The rapids are huge fun, lots of shrieks and laughs. To sleep under the stars or in a tent in such a location is an incredible experience, and behind that experience is a team of people who work very hard to make it the best it can be. The food made and served by the crew is wonderful and done with charm and humour. What they manage to stash away on those rafts is incredible.
