Outstanding Rafting Trip
I get goosebumps just thinking about how wonderful this outstanding rafting trip was!!
Considering all of the different types of transportation involved we were amazed at how seamless and smooth everything went. The day at Bar 10 Ranch was wonderful and a great way to get to know the other guests before getting to the river. The folks on the ranch were great and we loved their evening show!! How exciting it was to have a helicopter ride down to the river, amazing!!
The Grand Canyon is breathtaking and our guides quickly had us all geared up and on the rafts! Latimer, Lindsay, Ben and Scott were outstanding guides, we had a scary night of heavy rain and thunderstorms where we had to move our tents and eventually evacuate the area due to heavy washout activity - in the pouring rain - in the middle of the night. Their quick action and calm presence along with that of other guests made sure everyone was safe. On top of all of that they are excellent cooks and the food on the trip was fantastic!!
