Perfect Balance of Serene Majesty and Adrenaline
In my humble opinion, this is the best way to see the Grand Canyon.
All the food, drink, gear and trash receptacles are on the boat, so no worries about packing in and out. The guides, (Chappy, Newly, Evan, Skinny) are knowledgeable, witty, and great chefs.
As the geological layers surge and recede, the guides weave the stories of both the native inhabitants and the explorers into an historical drama.
It is healthy to be reminded of our past, amazed by our present, and hopeful (or fearful) of our future. This is a once in a lifetime trip that I've done twice..... Make it happen, bring your family!
