“We’re here for a good time, not a long time”
I can understand why this is one of the 7 wonders of the world. This was truly the trip of a lifetime! You all need to put this on your bucket list. I was simply blown away at the awesome power and beauty of the Grand Canyon. The rock formations and different geological structures let you imagine faces, animals, structures. The wildlife being so close (big horn desert sheep, antelope, geckos,etc) was something. The waterfalls, slot canyons, and turquoise water of Havasu falls were unbelievable. Sleeping under the stars with no tent on a cot and hearing the river run was peaceful. Millions of stars with shooters as well. The day 3 rapids were class 9 and 10 and were phenomenal! I've never had so much fun getting my ass kicked. You’re excited, afraid, and laughing afterwards. I did a mid air somersault on day 1 from the buckboard. The four hikes to the slot canyons, waterfalls were inspiring. The guides put together meals as good as any cruise ship could offer e.g.: (bananas flambé with ice cream). We had a party one night and a captain’s dinner the last night.
