To think about the beauty of the Rogue River in Southern Oregon takes me to a place that reminds me of something out of a Disney movie. A beautiful, scenic forest found in a fairy tale!
The wildlife on this 40 mile stretch of the Wild and Scenic ecosystem is more than I have seen anywhere! We saw deer, bear, river otters, mink, eagles, osprey, salmon, turtles and even a seal near the take out point!
The lush green forest with ferns, flowers and dense foliage were beyond compare for any other experience I have had. Abundant waterfalls and flowers of all colors.
This hidden place on earth was a joy to find and a place I will return to!
