Sensory Overload!!

I could state the obvious regarding this "rafting experience". Yes -- this is a life-changing experience. Yes -- the beauty of the Grand Canyon is overwhelming. Yes -- our four guides (Wiley; McKenna; Lindsay and Sam) were simply amazing! But, these statements are simple facts.

Now that I'm back into my daily routine, I long to be on the Colorado River. Back on the Colorado -- whether it's laughing and screaming with friends while riding rapids or dangling our feet in the Colorado while talking with one another at the end of a long day.

Because of this trip, I have a new-found appreciation for the everyday simplicities we often overlook. I'll never think of "Cowboy Coffee" the same. Love it!

I want to thank everyone at Western River Expeditions (as well as Al) for sharing such a wonderful experience. It's my hope to be back on the Colorado -- sooner rather than later. The beauty of the Grand Canyon should be experienced by all -- and Western River Expeditions is enormously successful in sharing their knowledge and love of the Grand Canyon and the Colorado River.
