I have taken the the Colorado River trip through the Grand Canyon twice and looking forward to my third trip. Each trip offered a different experience, and each experience was inspiring in so many ways. The scenery is spectacular, the food is excellent, the side hikes are challenging and fun, the rapids are beyond exciting, but most of all, the people, both the crew and guest, are fantastic: the crew is knowledgeable about the Canyon's history, have a good understanding about people and how to make everyone feel a part of the experience, have excellent cooking skills, and most of all, are superb rowers and guides; the guests on both of my trips possessed positive attitudes and were friendly and open, making it easy to connect with one another and share the experience of a life time. I attribute the guests ability to connect with each other to the outstanding job of the crew: good leadership is everything, and the crews at Western River Expedition is peopled with great leaders.
