There Are No Words Befitting This “Expedition” Experience

'It's an expedition not a trip' said Wiley on day one down at Lee's Ferry. Boy was he right.

Time off my life, best thing I've ever done, err-may-zing, Awe-sum! I could keep on going. From the thrill and exhilaration of 'Sucking Rubber' running the big rapids to the serenity of gliding along the calm stretches of the Colorado River with the back drop canvas the mind numbing Grand Canyon (often with tears welling up behind my Oakley's) I can honestly say there has never been and never will be a holiday quite like that.

I have never felt more at home with my surroundings and life as I was down there. No TV, no internet, no mobile signal, no shops, no cars, no houses, no politics. Heaven on earth!! A big thanks goes out to Steve 'Wiley' and Corey the two guides who made our trip and to all the rest of 'The Gang' who all made myself and Tracie so welcome in your wonderful country. Love you all.
