A Trip I Will Never Forget!
It is almost hard for me to put into words how amazing this trip was! First I was fortunate to share it with my 3 best friends. Next everything was so well planned from the time we left the hotel to our return. The ranch staff were so friendly and we were impressed with all the activities; skeet shooting, horse back riding, and an incredible ATV ride! We even got to sleep under the stars and watch the Perseid meteor shower!
Once we got to the river we were met with our four incredible guides. They were so fun, upbeat, and I really loved the stories about the Grand Canyon and rapids. They cooked delicious food and gave great advice when my girlfriends and I wanted to stay outside in our rain gear during the thunder/lightening/rain that blew through. This was a highlight of my trip! They wanted us to have fun, but be safe and we did. What a show the storm put on for us!
The river was cold but felt oh-so-welcome as it was very hot. The canyon was indescribable. We would come around a bend and I would say "WOW!!" thinking that has to be the best thing I have ever seen and then we would round another bend and I would say it again. My pictures just don't do it justice!
We met some great people, laughed until I thought I couldn't laugh anymore, and I personally had a life changing trip I won't ever forget. Thank you to Western River for such a high quality experience. You thought of every detail and I can't wait to come back again!!
