WHITE WATER – WE LOVE IT!
From the very first moment meeting at the Desert Rose Hotel to the very last good byes from everyone as we were brought back to the hotel, I couldn't have asked for anything better.
I have to say I was a little anxious at first. This whole trip was to help celebrate my sister's 60th birthday (a bucket list item on her list) and celebrate we did. Within our group of family and friends there were 9 of us. That meant 9 others we didn't know, but that didn't last very long. All of us bonded very well right off the get go. We even want to all get together again.
Although the weather was very HOT, the cool water temps saved us. We didn't have to use rain gear. We all wanted more rapids and higher ones. This year the water was very high so we didn't get as many and also I understand if you start further up the river you get more (maybe next time). The food, service was excellent. My husband and I have food restrictions and that was taken care of for us. The people at the Bar 10 Ranch couldn't have been nicer. And, what a show they put on.
Our guides on the river (Ben and Kelly) were the best. Always ready to have fun, great cooks and especially the last night they had dressed Kelly in a dress and Ben with a bow-tie! Story telling and a fire dance. What fun! And, Kelly had baked a cake for my sister's birthday. They put on a little hula hoop send off as we were jetted away on the jet boat. Love you guys.
The stars at night you can't even imagine, shooting and falling stars. What a show.
I would highly recommend this trip to any and everyone. They will set your mind at ease and show you the best time ever. Going under the waterfall was the best it was so much fun!
