Zero complaints, exceeded expectations!
Where to start? The whole reservations process was painless with timely emails and real live people when you called.. and very pleasant.
Worried about the restrooms? Don't be. Very private with a tent and always another sit up secluded. Great sanitation facilities too.
The hikes and waterfalls were special and the rapids! Wow!. Nice cool water on a warm day!! And the scenery, we slept out under the stars every nite and the moon and stars were unbelievable.
You can't take a bad picture with such breath taking scenery day and night..and the food.. steaks and more!! Always snacks when needed, lemonade and ice cold water too!! Don't want to give away too much, but steaks are just the start!!
Mark Pierce our Captain and Kurt and Tubbs and Parker on the other boat along with Abby attended to every need and were very informative about the Grand Canyon history. Great narrative and some funny jokes thrown in!!
More than half of the people on the boats had done this trip before, I am making plans to go back myself with my nephews!!
I can recommend Western River Expeditions again and will do so to all my friends and family. Zero complaints, exceeded expectations.
I will be bringing a water proof camera as others had next time. Other than that, the guide Western River gives you is quite good.
