The guides are just wonderful. God creates a special species to be a river guide, especially a Western River Expeditions guide. I don't know where they find these people. They are the most wonderful and delicious people, the most competent, energetic people that I've ever met in my entire life.
I can't say enough about the guides, the staff, of Western. They are absolutely competent, very very neat human beings. You can tell this is not just a job for them but it's a way of life.
The guides are fantastic, they are very knowledgeable about the geology of the canyon, the wildlife and the plant life. The river guides here have been wonderful, Scott and Joey, wow. They play guitar, and mandolin and harmonica. It is neat hearing and having them share their talents with us.
The guides are great, they're extraordinarily hard working. They've cook up a storm, food that will rival a restaurant. Absolutely incredible. They know so much about the canyon. The grasp of the geology, the human history and the national history of the canyon. It's been a wonderful experience to be here with them.
Our guides were amazing. They were always there, they would stop whatever they were doing to answer questions or help us out. I needed tissues so he stopped cooking to get me tissues.
The service, courtesy, and friendliness what untapable. The food, the sleeping, this is a pretty deluxe trip. We're camping and we're in the outdoors, but I feel pretty taken care of and pretty lazy a lot of the time, just enjoying the trip.
The crew has been totally professional. You have total confidence. It's been amazing. They do everything, they're great cooks, they're great musicians, they're incredible boatmen. They make it look easy, but I know it's not and it takes incredible skills. Nothing was too much trouble. They fed us the most incredible food and they were fun and funny and helpful.
The crew at Western River Expeditions has been nothing short of spectacular, top notch.
I like to liken the guides that we have on the river to medical professionals because they help to bring out the best in us. They help us to learn things about ourselves that we didn't even know. They help us to push limits that we've never pushed before. That's really is who Western River is, is our guides down on the river.
