Amazing Adventure
This is NOT Disneyland. However, the incredibly competent and experienced guides of Western River make this the trip of a lifetime. Newty, Kelly, Johnny, and Daniel (see picture) are so amazing. Following their instructions and with them as the boat captains we were reasonably assured of both a fun and a safe trip.
From preparing the coffee in the morning to cleaning up after the wonderful dinners they prepared, these are the hardest working people you will ever encounter. And, they do it with a smile, all day long. Never a cross word between themselves or the guests. No issue too large or small for them to handle and resolve.
The history and geology lessons we learned as we headed down the canyon were SO informative and interesting. We went on some fantastic hikes that again had an emphasis on safety and allowed us to experience more of the canyon.
